UHT milk consumption on the rise in sub-Saharan Africa

Proteus Insight, dairy market specialist, stated that the consumption of UHT milk in sub-Saharan Africa has increased by an average of 22% per annum since 2013. This is in sharp contrast to markets in the EU and US where the consumption of white milk has been static. Despite the global economic slowdown in 2015 the consumption of UHT milk in sub-Saharan Africa was approximately 1,3 billion litres during the year. To read more, click HERE.
