Producer prices reduced

Milk buyers Clover, and Tip Top have recently announced reductions in their producer prices. Tip Top and Danone reduced their prices from 1 June 2015 – Tip Top with an average of 20 cents per litre and Danone with 20 cents per litre. Clover producer prices will drop by 30 cents per litre from 1 August 2015. MPO chief executive Dr Chris van Dijk said in situations like these milk producers have to focus on utilising all resources available throughout the industry to ensure the optimal production of milk every day.
