Power to the people

Power to the people takes on a new meaning for the management of R&R Ice Cream, the world’s largest ice cream manufacturer.  With their new project they turn byproducts from their ice cream factory into biogas to power UK homes. The byproduct consists of sugar, fat and protein, left behind after product-line cleansing. It can then be transformed into biomethane, a biogas – to generate power.  To read more, click HERE.
