The nine MPO route meetings held in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) from 28 to 31 July last week were attended by more than 30% of dairy farmers in the province. MPO CEO Mr Bertus de Jongh gave producers insight on the local and international outlook for the dairy industry by while MPO economist Dr Koos Coetzee shared information on the latest local and international economic trends. All the meetings were characterised by good interaction between milk producers and MPO representatives. The MPO is grateful for the valuable feedback and comments and will address these shortly. MPO KZN president Mr Edsel Hohls thanked everyone involved in the route meeting, from the sponsors, the chairmen and vice-chairmen of each region and every MPO member who made an effort to attend the meetings in their area. The MPO KZN annual general meeting and congress will take place at St Ives on 28 August.
