International producer prices increase significantly

Producer prices in major exporting countries increased sharply since 2012, both in terms of their own currencies and in rand terms. An analysis on international producer prices in various countries show that producer prices in most countries increased at a faster rate than in South Africa. Producer price indices for different countries, based on their own currencies are shown below
