The Dairy gives you go campaign of Milk South Africa’s Consumer Education Project (CEP) was awarded the best television and social media campaign at the 2015 International Dairy Federation’s World Dairy Summit on 23 September 2015. The three finalists of the competition were Canada’s Get enough campaign, France’s How to move from nutrition to enjoyment campaign and South Africa’s Dairy gives you go campaign.
The award-winning television advertisement, which features Loretta Rush, a fashion model, and other elements of the campaign, aims to position dairy in the minds of the youth as exciting, nutritious and healthy products. This advertisement is the third of the campaign that also includes successful use of digital and social media, as well as a microsite (www.dairygivesyougo.co.za).
