Bridging the gap

Consumers will soon be able to learn more about dairy by visiting an interactive educational centre in Wisconsin. In the near future, the Wisconsin Agricultural Education Centre (WAEC) will provide a platform to help educate and bridge the gap between consumers and farmers.

The centre will educate visitors on dairy and farm food products, support healthy living, agriculture and environmental stewardship and the fact that state agriculture and animal welfare go hand in hand. The WAEC will emphasise the deep history and tradition of agriculture in the Badger State while connecting people to modern agriculture in a way that will help them understand and appreciate how vital a robust agriculture is in our world today. Milk and dairy products will be included, but also items such as honey, cranberries, vegetables, fruit and various kinds of meat. To read more, click HERE.
