Banting: more than a trend

Banting seems to be a lasting trend and not a fad, as many would expect. According to News24, many mainstream supermarket outlets such as Woolworths and food outlets such as Sandwich Baron now cater for the needs of banters. Even Clover could attest to the influence Banting has had on dairy sales. According to Jacques van Heerden, head of strategic projects at Clover, national dairy sales show positive growth. “There is a definite upward trend in product sales of high fat and protein-rich dairy such as butter.” To read more, click HERE.
