Since the discovery of penicillin by Alexander Flemming, no real alternative for antibiotic treatment has been discovered. That was until recently when Dr Mark Cook, a professor of animal science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, discovered a viable alternative. “We were trying to make animals more sensitive to disease so that we could find a replacement for antibiotics,” says Dr Cook. “Little did we know we had the answer in our hands.” To read more, click HERE.
