PRODUKSIE VAN ONVERWERKTE MELK vir Februarie 2021

Die produksie van onverwerkte melk in Februarie 2021 word geskat op 232 miljoen liter, dit is −8,76% minder as in Februarie 2020. Kumulatiewe melkproduksie vir 2021 (insluitende Februarie) is 507 miljoen liter, wat dui op ʼn negatiewe groei van −6,69% vir die eerste twee maande van 2021 indien dit vergelyk word met dieselfde tydperk in 2020 (bron: Melk SA, die twee maande van 2021 is voorlopig).

Die jaar 2020 was ’n skrikkeljaar. Indien Februarie 2020 aangepas word na 28 dae, verander die negatiewe kumulatiewe groei vir die eerste twee maande van 2021 van −6,69% na −5,16% in vergelyking met dieselfde tydperk in 2020.

Nieteenstaande beteken dit dat die werlike volume vir die eerste twee maande van 2021 amper 7% minder is as in 2020.
