Position               : Regional Member Manager (RMM)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate should be and have experience in the following:

• Commitment to customer service excellence, results driven and innovative.
• Plan, execute and finalise projects according to deadlines and within budget, by acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members.
• Alignment of business and project strategies to objectives.
• Develop, maintain and distribute the necessary project documentation for example the project plan, strategy, scope and objectives.
• Monitor, maintain and report the project progress.
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management team.
• Well prepared meetings, presentations, functions, catering, venues and equipment.
• Report on a weekly basis.

REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES)

• A degree in Agriculture will serve as recommendation.
• 3-5 years’ experience in running projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is essential.
• Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills, from documentation to conferences.
• Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail,
• Good leadership skills and ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills at all levels, with the ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment.
• Presentable and professional personality, mature and assertive, well-groomed and behaves in a way that sets an example for the profession and the company.
• Strong time management skills. Level-headed and calm under pressure.
• Dealing with change (adaptability, managing change well).
• Must be prepared to work abnormal hours, if required to do so, to meet the project objectives.
• Understanding of all primary social media platforms.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The position will require a lot of travel in the province of the Western Cape as well as occasional national travel.
