“Mr Shabane witnessed and became part of the most complicated process of a transition of a merger between the Department of Agriculture and Department of Rural Development, a process that he conducted with greatest aplomb.”

“He understood Batho Pele, principle until his last days in the department and NERPO will be forever indebted to his humility. We hope and believe that those values he represents will remain within the department. NERPO wishes him all the best in his future plans.”
