Food and drink industies’ specialist consultants Zenith International stated in their Global Dairy Innovation 2014 report that Greek-style yogurt has a significant presence in the report owing to product innovation, flavour and packaging. The report examined key trends and new product development in dairy categories, including milk, cheese, cream, butter, yogurt, ice cream and dairy desserts, focusing on products with functional benefits. Greek-style yoghurt with exotic new flavour and texture combinations, and drinking yogurt aimed at specific target groups such as active men led the way.
