UP Chancellor’s Medal awarded to Dr Faffa Malan

Dr Faffa Malan, well-known veterinarian was awarded the Chancellor’s Medal by the University of Pretoria for outstanding academic achievement and service beyond the academic environment.The Faculty of Veterinary Science of UP stated, “Dr Malan has made a lasting scientific contribution to marketing, developing and technically supporting veterinary products in the Southern Hemisphere. His work not only benefits South Africa, but is relevant all over the world.” Dr Faffa is also known as South African agriculture’s first virtual veterinarian with his popular question and answer series hosted onLandbouweekblad’s website since 2005.
