Price increases for Gauteng producers

Nkunzi Milkyway, Pretoria-based milk processor has increased its producer prices for the third time in four months with between 15 and 20 cents per litre from 1 May 2014. This implies a 14% increase from 1 February 2014. Mr Danie Schutte, MPO Gauteng chairman said, “This is a wise move, which shows that Nkunzi is ensuring sufficient milk supply in the coming months by timely producer price increases.”
