Lesotho agricultural students visit Free State

MPO Free State hosted a group of 33 students from the Lesotho Agriculture Campus this week. The students visited Mr Mikey Quin’s dairy farm where they were taken on a tour of the milking shed and farm accompanied by Mr Koos Pienaar, who gave them valuable information. Following the farm visit, students went to Dairy Corporation’s facilities where they learnt about the processing facilities and the steps followed from receiving raw milk from farmers to producing dairy products. Ms Izette Louw, regional coordinator, said the MPO is grateful for everybody who contributed in making it an informative experience for the students.
