MPO Limpopo route meeting successful

The MPO Limpopo route meeting of 27 January 2015 was successful with a third of the milk producers in the province attending, said chairman Mr Jan Hendrik Jacobs. Milk producers enjoyed a presentation by Mr Kenneth Botha of Barnlab on the cost of raising calves. Mr Joubert Fourie shared advice on the requirements for winning the Master Dairyman competition. MPO economist Dr Koos Coetzee gave an overview of local and international economic trends while MPO CEO Mr Bertus de Jongh informed dairy farmers about the services of the MPO. Mr Jacobs expressed his gratitude towards all the milk producers who attended the meeting and the sponsors Barnlab, Nutrochem, Denkavit, Nampak, Rhino Plastics and LMI who contributed to the success of the day.
