MPO appoints new CEO

The MPO announced on Thursday, 5 March that Dr Chris van Dijk has been appointed as the new chief executive of the organisation with effect from 4 May 2015. Dr Van Dijk is well known in the dairy industry and is regarded as a worthy successor to retiring CEO Mr Bertus de Jongh. MPO chairman Mr Turner said the MPO is proud and privileged to welcome someone of Dr Van Dijk’s calibre in its midst. Dr Van Dijk said he is looking forward to the challenges of the new position and that he aims to continue building on the MPO’s reputation of outstanding support of and service delivery to milk producers throughout the country.
