Informative Gauteng Dairy Day

The informative and successful Gauteng Dairy Day 2015 hosted by award-winning Belnori Boutique Cheesery near Bapsfontein on 13 August was attended by more than 200 visitors from Limpopo, North West, the Free State, Western Cape, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Mozambique. An exhibition of products and services was combined with a programme filled with expert speakers provided topical and useful information on topics such as Raising calves, kids and lambs, Inocculation programme, Sustainable cheese making and Animal handling and stress. presentations  a programme by 40 companies exhibiting products and services. The organiser, Rina Belcher, chairperson MPO Gauteng mid-region succeeded in creating a platform for all milk producers including cows, goats and sheep, to interact and share “pearls of wisdom”. Rina thanks all exhibitors and other role players who contributed to making the event truly memorable.
