The aim of the MPO Western Cape Farmers’ Days that will be held from 8 to 10 March 2016 in George, Swellendam and Malmesbury, respectively is to assist dairy farmers in calculating and applying key performance indicators (KPIs). With modern-day milking shed software dairy farmers are literally bombarded with data on a daily basis. It is important to use and process this data in a meaningful way in order to calculate key performance indicators on a dairy farm and apply the information when making important management decisions.
