November imports lower

In October 2015, 3 710 tonnes of dairy products were imported, 29% less than in October 2014. The sharpest decrease was in the imports of UHT milk, down to 109 tonnes from an average of more than 3 000 tonnes for the first eight months of 2015. Total imports during the first ten months of this year, however, still stand on 69% more than during the same period last year. In October 2015, 18 248 tonnes of dairy products were exported, marginally more than during October 2014. Total exports during January to October 2015 equals 156 212 tonnes, compared to 159 288 tonnes last year.
