Interesting information shared at MPO North Farmers’ Day

Interesting information was shared at the MPO North Farmers’ Day held on Thursday, 9 June 2016 at Jasmyn Farm Stall, Hartbeespoort Dam. The meeting was characterised by lively interaction and a positive atmosphere.  Dairy farmers were informed about the latest local and international economic trends and the MPO’s strategy and services by Dr Chris van Dijk and managers Bertus van Heerden and Philip Swart. Kenneth Botha from Barnlab gave advice on feeding dairy animals in difficult times. Dawid Roux was re-elected the chairman of the Randfontein branch and Willem Scholtz was elected the chairman of the Brits branch.  Johan Strydom, MPO North chairman, expressed a special word of thanks to Raymond Erasmus, who sponsored the venue and refreshments and other sponsors Monsanto, Nutrochem, Barnlab, FNB, Vitam Optifeeds and DeLaval.
